Spotted this article today on Facebook's effort into payment. Although this function is only available in the US, but my guess is that they will eventually enter the SEA market. With payment, Facebook is on track to be the "superapp" of SEA market along side with Grab and GoJek. It would be even more interesting if they decide to enter the SEA with crypto as a lot of people in SEA are still bankless. But ahead of them will be the operational difficulties and risk if they decide to tap into the offline services payment market.
