Behind the scene of WeWork
This documentary is a great inside view of the rise and fall of the WeWork empire. One of the obvious conclusions from this story is how the Adam the founder ended up taking advantage of the We story and benefited himself at the end while everyone was left hanging. But aside from that, a lot of the scenarios Adam faced and the way he resolved them were not so much different from some of the legit founders whom I personally know while they were scaling up their companies and eventually become successful. So thought was, if it wasn't his action that made him the bad down, was it his last intention? What if he didn't take any money from the company at the end, or what if he stayed and tried his best in down scaling his company, or what if he stayed and the company goes bankrupt. Would any of these made him a better person or founder?
In any case, this would be a question that we would never be able to answer. Lastly, I want to highlight a part that I really enjoy in this documentary. When Masa San asked Adam, "Is a fight, would a smart person win or a crazy person win." Adam replied, "Crazy person". And Masa said, "You are correct, but you are not crazy enough. Be crazier, think big."
